Our Wedding

Just over a month ago, we had our beautiful wedding in Malaga, Spain. 65 of our closest friends and family came (mainly from the U.S.) to our wedding, and we had a giant party. It was an amazing time, and we are so grateful to everyone that came to celebrate with us.

We chose to have our wedding in Malaga, Spain, where I spent a semester abroad in college. Malaga is beautiful and even better...cheap! We had a very affordable wedding, and it was absolutely breathtaking. We arrived in Malaga on the Monday before our wedding (on Friday).

On Wednesday, we decided to take the hike up to the Gilbralfaro look-out. It is a short, moderate hike up a very nice and well-paved road. There is also a bus that goes up and down to this point. At the top, there is also a castle (Castillo de Gilbralfaro), which is free to enter on Sundays. We also checked out the Malagueta beach.

On Wednesday night, we had a welcome dinner at El Patio in central Malaga. We set up a reservation and had bottles of wine served throughout the meal. Everyone ordered their own meal, which mainly included paella, as this is their specialty. At the end of the meal, they passed around different kinds of liqueurs and grappas. We all had an amazing time.

On Thursday, we moved to La Viñuela from Malaga. That night, we took a bus to Cafe del Mar in Torre del Mar for a beautiful dinner overlooking the ocean. The meal was absolutely delicious, and I cannot recommend Cafe del Mar and Mangoa catering enough. The drinks were amazing~sangria, tinto, cava, etc. It was a wonderful night, and we are so grateful to Nate's parents!

He did a wonderful job taking pictures and I love looking at them.

On Saturday morning, we had a beautiful brunch at the hotel. Thank you so much to my parents for this wedding, and the trip of a lifetime. Words fail me to explain how wonderful the whole week was. We were very relaxed and I genuinely think that everybody had a great time.

Also special thanks to:
